Is it possible?

#1 Postby NCWeatherChic » Wed Sep 06, 2006 9:51 pm

Wondering if it is possible that if Flo gets as big as some say it could and as strong, could it do what it wants and head toward the east coast, like ignoring the "window of opportunity to turn northward"? Just curious...this one has me concerned. I just joked last week that the name Florence reminds me of a rather large lady I once knew.

Well, as we saw with Ernesto, just about anything is possible with tropical systems. Now, is it probable? From what I've been reading and hearing, given the current setup, probably not. But you never know with these things. All you can do at this point is be prepared no matter what happens.
