Talking Tropics Show

Tonight with a early start at 8 PM EDT host Mike Watkins will have as guest Philip J. Klotzbach from Colorado State University.Among the themes for sure will come up is how the 2006 season has transpired in terms of activity including the question about why the Eastern Atlantic has seen more activity than the Western Atlantic,for sure also the theme of CPC issuing an official statement about El nino forming in the pacific,Hurricane Gordon and TD 8 will be also discussed.Of course also another theme will be the Forecast from Colorado State University that was changed in September to forecast less activity in the Atlantic.So dont miss the show tonight at 8 PM EDT.

Already there are three announcements and a sticky that are needed up there because of the importance of each of them.This thread anyway will be up in the page as replies are posted. :)

Thanks for the post Luis...

Yep we will start at 8PM EDT this evening. Phil will join us during the show to discuss their revised forecast, conditions in the Atlantic, El Nino, and why so much eastern Atlantic development...etc...plus we may try to look ahead to October and 2007 as well.

Also, we will break down what to look for with Helene...and talk some about Gordon and Florence...and what the pattern holds for the remainder of the season...plus your phone calls, questions, etc.

We may also discuss the growth of sites/individuals making verifiable track forecasts and what they should do/not do to make them verifiable and objective...if we have time to get to this...

See you at 8PM EDT!
