End of Season Talking Tropics Show

#1 Postby cycloneye » Mon Nov 27, 2006 7:48 am

After a few weeks that the show has not been on air,it would be great to have a season ending show next thursday November 30th,although not much happened in terms of U.S landfalls and the season was not active. M Watkins, your analysis of the tropics always is very good so we would like to hear you discuss about the 2006 season and the factors that were important to cause the season to surprise the experts that failed in their seasonal forecasts.

Thanks for the note Luis...sure thing. We'll wrap it up this Thursday. I don't know about the times yet, I know Charlie is doing his season-ender tomorrow night. My guess is we will do an hour show from 9 to 10PM EST. I will know more by tomorrow.

Thanks again...

We will start at 9PM and go for an hour, summarizing the 2006 season, and we will talk about the future of the NHC post Max Mayfield, including who I think should become the next director...

As always a good show.It was mainly about who will replace Max Mayfield as the new NHC director,a recap of the 2006 season and a small sneak preview from Mike about the 2007 season.
