Last Saturday I went on a tour of NOAA's NWS Miami and the NHC Offices. The tour was given by Robert Molleda, the Warning Coordination Meteorologist and set up by Don Morris, the Miami-Dade Skywarn Coordinator at the NWS Miami office. Robert Molleda did a nice presentation and a really good job showing us around and explaining how both offices operate. The tour was very informative and interesting as well. I highly reccommend it to anyone who may have a chance to go on one. Here are only a few pictures that I took. I have many more pictures of both offices including Max Mayfields directors chair where I sat in and became the new NHC director, until reality set in, :-).

The NWS Miami Office, it's located on the other side of NHC offices.

The infamous dropwindsonde that is released from the aircraft and falls through the storm via a parachute.
