Katrina series on Fox
Anyone seen the ads for K'Ville on Fox? Looks like a series about post-Katrina N.O. Saw it during the finale of 24.

When everything changes, so do the rules.
From writer and executive producer Jonathan Lisco (“NYPD Blue,” “The District”) comes a heroic police drama set in New Orleans. Two years after Katrina, the city is still in chaos. Criminals roam the streets with AK-47s, many cops have quit, and the jails, police stations and crime labs still haven’t been properly rebuilt. But the cops who remain have courage to burn and a passion to reclaim and rebuild their city.

I'm not certain how I feel about this either, when i first saw the ad during the 24 finale. At first I thought it was a cheesy way to try and cash in on the suffering of so many people...but the more I thought about it, the more I came to the conclusion that perhaps this will assist in keeping what these folks went through in the minds of the American public - i mean we all know how short the American attention span is. But in order for it to work, the series MUST be extremely well written with compelling story lines, not just rehashed newspaper headlines about looting, etc. I just hope they do a good, respectable job. Too many people lost their lives and/or livelihood for Fox to cash in cheaply.
