I just noticed that the NHC tropical outlook goes out 48 hours. Is that new? Wasn't 24 hours last year? This is great!!!!

It's just a wording change. Instead of saying "Through Monday" they said "during the next 48 hours" (today and tomorrow). Nothing new.

I liked the old way; it helped me remember what day it was. Yet another aspect of the universal plot to make me lose track of all named time.
