My Compilation of Hurricane Links
All,
I've put together a web page with the best hurricane links that I've found over the years. Take a look:
http://myweb.cableone.net/nolasue/hurricane.html
I'm sure many of you have favorite links that aren't on my page. Please post them here and I'll update the page to include them. My links may be a little short on real-time satellite imagery as I can get all I need at the office, but I'm not ALWAYS at the office where I can run GARP. Just added a link to TC movies from 1983-2005 that covers all oceans.

NCDC NEXRAD data: http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/nexradinv/
Yeah, "Netscape Start Page" is what I had originally called it as I use Netscape and it's the "start page" when I open Netscape. I changed it to "Hurricane Links" now.

I added your link to a newly-retitled lower table that says "Domestic and International Radars". I didn't have any radar links on there because I do have acess to all the radar data I need on a password-protected web page that I made for myself at work.

WOW! Great compilation wxman57... the archived TC movies & radar loops are AWESOME!
Here are some additional real-time radar loops from the SFWMD (South Florida Water Management District) that are really great:
Miami, FL: http://www.sfwmd.gov/org/omd/ops/weather/radamx.html
Key West, FL: http://www.sfwmd.gov/org/omd/ops/weather/radbyx.html
Tampa, FL: http://www.sfwmd.gov/org/omd/ops/weather/radtbw.html
Melbourne, FL: http://www.sfwmd.gov/org/omd/ops/weather/radmlb.html
...and here is a link to Nassau, Bahamas radar which a lot of people don't know is available online (though the web page isn't maintained very well):
http://www.bahamasweather.org.bs/radar/local/
Also, here are links to the South Florida and Caribbean "Current Observations" pages on my own site... I've used graphical maps to represent all the different links to data. (Note: My site is still a work in progress, so only the "South Florida" and "Caribbean" current observations tabs are working in this section... I'll be enabling the "Florida" and "US" tabs in the coming months.)

Re: My Compilation of Hurricane Links
I updated the links page with some of the suggestions. Didn't go through all of the web pages on Adrian's web site. If you know of another good tropical site for models, satellite, or something else, place it in this thread and I'll take a look and add it in.

wxman57,here are links to the sat pics of the NE Caribbean, that shows a closeup of the islands including Monserrat, where the Soufriere volcano is.They are infared and visible.
Of course the last two links are black at night because they are visible pics.

A few corrections....
This link needs to be corrected on your page:
Tropical Cyclone Formation Probabilities
Another link should be named "S. Florida Water Management District"
This is the SHIPS directory on the server they just moved ATCF files to:
ftp://ftp.tpc.ncep.noaa.gov/atcf/stext/
Perhaps add a direct link to wind shear:

Re: My Compilation of Hurricane Links
Wanted to say hello to "Chris in Tampa". Its nice to see your name on the board. You are an asset to any tropical weather board (referring to your posting of pertinent information) as well as to your overall demeanor and way of conduction yourself with others. Welcome aboard young man!

Thanks, Chris_in_Tampa. I've added most of your links to the page. Looks like I'll also need to do some reorganization in the future, too.
