Interaction between a trough and a tropical wave but nothing there to open eyebrows but of course anything that has a flareup like that has to be watched.I would better watch besides our tropical disturbance in the central atlantic the wave emerging africa.

The convection near 22ºN 58ºW (south of Bermuda) is associated with an upper level low and trough of low pressure... still something to watch.

The convection developed quickly yesterday; in fact nothing existed in this region and then BAM.

Yep .. interactions ... notice on visible satellite imagery, a general WNW low level flow all across the boards ...

At this time development with this feature near 22ºN 58ºW will not development. The area is being monitored for possible slow development with time.

Like any other upper level low, the longer it persists, the better chance it will have.
