LOL the Atlantic page has the east pac invest on the floater ! i think they are bored too as well

You don't want it to be so quiet early in the season - there is a correlation between a quiet beginning of the season and a more active end.

The less activity in the Caribbean and Atlantic, the more the sun can warm the waters - as the purpose of hurricanes is to transfer excess heat content from the tropics to the poles you don't want a void in activity as we are seeing now.

So far looks like we are being patient. In my opinion the real hurricane season is August - October. We are not even close yet.

hmmm.... that was a little over board.. there buddy.. i was just thinking out loud really ..i was bored and felt like posting that it had absolutely no merit what so ever with my thoughts on the over all season.. but anyway ... good morning

Only in the Atlantic. The Caribbean and GOM aren't very deep, and the heated water returns rather quickly after hurricanes cross them.
