Talkin Tropics Show

#1 Postby MWatkins » Thu Jul 12, 2007 12:00 am

Yet again...we will be Talkin Tropics this Thursday starting at 9PM EDT.

No guests scheduled for now...but we will address the Proenza vs. the NHC vs NOAA issue...as well as your questions.

Such as...is 2007 going to be a repeat of 2006?

What is the deal with the cool SST's in the Atlantic this week?

Is La Nina on the way?

Why is accuweather smiling?

Hey Mike - It looks like the podcast archive is incorrectly formatting the urls. None of them download for me anymore.

Here's the text for one of them:

Heyy now. Let's show a little respect..he has given many years of service. That comment was not needed in this thread.. If you felt so strong about it we have a couple of other threads for you to dabate the issue..

I know..I figured i'd get chastised but he caused such a disrption in such an unprofessional way in the position he was in and it was so uncalled for. I stayed quiet in the other thread cause I knew his end was near and just let it take its course. Can't wait to hear what MW and company have to say.

The stream has changed to another program and back twice now. Has this happened to anyone else?

Audio keeps dropping out, and then another show keeps "bleeding though" (which I didn't think was possible on the Internet).

Despite the audio problems,it was a great show as always.Good to hear again after a long absence Matt Carrier, who knows a lot about the patterns and anomalies.I am looking foward to his contributions in the comming shows.
