And TPC still says that it can become a tropical depression by the weekend.What all think about the persistance from TPC to see it developing?

That it will! Visible pix is showing the slowdown in forward speed. We're also seeing the low-level cloud pattern coming together from north to south, and convection should begin to build. This is starting to become evident on the NE and SW sides of the system. If it doesn't get shoved ahead again, we should see out TD by tomorrow morning. I said that yesterday when the trend din't continue :oops: Cheers!!

Well who is to argue with them. They did good on Claudette and we all know how she turned out.

Patience is the key here. We can't expect the waves to come off of Africa as category 4 hurricanes. They have to go through the growing process.

It kind of looked disorganized yesterday after I posted that I felt it would be a TD by today. I think that with the slowing of forward speed the chances of organization are much greater. Something to watch...
