She eventually skimmed passed Cuba as a cat. 3 before entering the GOM.Still the strongest 'cane to have hit the US- sustained winds of 190 :eek:

Camilles true intensity will never be known, but no way it held 190 all the way to Mississippi. Especially since it went over the SE tip of Louisiana.
