2007 Already a Banner Season!
The fact that we had two long tracking intense tropical cyclones that stayed with the range of recon will prove an invaluable tool when the data is researched around the country long after the trade winds have shifted. From a research point of view 2007 has been one of the best years possible so far. It is not often we get to study intense cyclones for such a long period of time. Great year!

I'm sure we'll learn alot from Dean and Felix especially.
Sadly alot of people lost their lives.

True, but at least the storms that caused the death and destruction have provided us with valuable research that we can use to perhaps curb loss of life from future storms. A silver lining I guess.

Two category 5 landfalls on rare low-tracks was an event alone.
