Heh, JB is on that sub-tropical cyclone kick now but I had him beat by several days. I still say that will not be declared an invest. But I reserve the right to change my mind.

I'm going to have to say around May 10th, probably early in the afternoon (in EST), somewhere several hundred miles away from Florida and close to Puerto Rico, probably a couple hundred Northwest. It should make landfall on the island of Vague and dissipate into a category 14 air mass thunderstorm thereafter. *

We usually have at least one invest in May. Late April seems a bit early.

June 10th seems kind of late for a very active season ahead.

2004's first TC didn't develop until August. That season featured 15 NS, 9 hurricanes, and 6 intense hurricanes.

Many La Nina seasons with >13 NS didn't ramp up until late August.
