Yes, I received word last Friday afternoon that he had suffered a massive heart attack while driving home from out of state (he was in Miami when it occurred).

Vic was someone I knew from my first year at that job, and, as a cyclist, I'd sometimes see him riding his bicycle to work - often he'd ride with "no hands", so, it's funny what we remember about a person, but, that's what I'll remember of Vic (of course he also helped to develop the SLOSH model, but, I'll always remember him for his unique way of riding his bicycle)...
