Do they need people + Responce from Governors office

#1 Postby dgparent » Tue Aug 30, 2005 3:48 pm

throughout the country to house families that will not be able to go home for long periods of time ? I have looked and not seen any organization asking for this type of help, but if you can't go home for a month your family will need a place to stay right ? I would be willing to drive down and pick up a couple of people.

Thank you for your email to Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco. Our office is currently compiling a database of volunteers and the locations of resources that are being offered to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. We appreciate your generosity and will contact you Wednesday, August 31 with a response.

Thank You,

Thomas Lay

Office of the Governor
