For those of you who are familiar with the DMSP imagery of the Earth with all the cities lights around the world... here are some shots that the DMSP satellites shot last night.
Note: The light blue colors are clouds, the yellow colors are city lights.

waste gas flare? So those rigs are operating? Or is that an automatic process regardless of the rigs habitation or are those rigs burning?
Automatic process to keep rigs from building up pressure and rupturing pipelines etc. But crews are trying to assess the damage and restart some rigs.
