ELECTRICITY!!! at last

#1 Postby timNms » Tue Sep 13, 2005 5:48 pm

We FINALLY got electric power yesterday-two weeks to the day after Katrina roared thru. I was going to post and let everyone know that we're still doing well....but our phone went out again. It's been that way since we got it back on a few days after the storm....works today, won't work tomorrow. SUCKS.

(edited to fix error....)

Congratulations! Although yesterday was actually the two-week mark since Katrina :). Great to see things are OK now though...

Guess I was so excited that my hands got carried away and typed one week instead of two LOL. It's nice to see in the dark again...and to sleep with airconditioning! The best part of all was getting to sleep in MY BED again.

Thanks. It's great to be back. not sure how long it will last as our phone goes on and off. Maybe Bellsouth will get someone out this way soon to fix the problem. I'm sure burying the phone line would be a BIG help in solving the problem. We've been after them to do that for the last 3 yrs!
