i saw footage on CNN where entire neighborhoods are covered with 12-18" of thick crude oil that looks like mud.

Sunny - I'm very familiar with the area - former resident of Baton Rouge/Denham Springs/Hammond.

I'm sorry - I hope you get back soon - but not TOO soon before it is declared safe. I'm really concerned about the toxic stuff and them bringing in my friends and loved ones back in too soon just because they WANT to come home.

Let them tell you it's REALLY all clear and then go back!

I agree with you, Mattie. We should go back when it is safe. My firm is still saying six months here.

To tell you the truth, I am still finding it hard to believe that this has actually happened, even though we knew it would one day. I just don't think we really realized the impact.
