Mardi Gras 2006 - For grins

#1 Postby Mattie » Fri Sep 30, 2005 3:45 pm

There is a thread on wwltv.com that discusses the potential for Mardi Gras 2006 - mostly tongue in cheek, but very clever comments!

I'm confident that there will be a REAL 2006 Mardi Gras . . . should be interesting.

That is cute but I have heard that they are going to try to have Mardi Gras.

I'm pretty sure I'll be on St. Charles Avenue at noon on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, riding on a float in the Krewe of Tucks parade. I don't know how many floats or riders we'll have, but I don't expect Tucks or any other krewe or the city to miss Mardi Gras. It would be the end of the world for New Orleans.
