on the wwltv.com NO website blog they have a Broussard who was quoted at 10:10AM today as saying "I know what the bodycount is so far, but i do not want to horrify the nation"
-I have a feeling Katrina just may surpass the Galveston hurricane as being the deadliest US cane on record. That's never good when you have a govt official come out and say i know the count, but i don't want to tell you just yet b/c it's really really bad. I think they are trying to prepare the country for a high #. By the way, who is Broussard?

Aaron Broussard is the parish president of Jefferson Parish. This is a parish next to Orleans. It was not as hard hit as Orleans but was still hit very very hard. This is the same man who broke down crying on Meet the Press yesterday.
