Sometimes it cuts out in iTunes. Just double-click on it again if it stops and it usually starts working again.

Just one thing to keep in mind, not everything you hear on a scanner is accurate. A lot of time you are hearing second hand info, or the initial assessment of a excitable person under stress.

Mine's cut out completely so I'm relying on posts to find out what happened after that keep the airwaves clear call that I did get to hear.

Gawd I hope they can get those people out of there soon, that situation is deteriorating too quickly.

Not specific to this situation, just in general. If you hear a dispatch to a armed robbery in progress, frequently it turns out to be a shoplifter. I'm just saying from years of experience of listening to scanners that you need to be careful before you jump to conclusions. A lot of fire trucks are dispatched to false alarms. In this particular situation, it sounds like you got the necessary backup info to make a confirmation.

I'm judging this info to be more accurate than the news even though I'm getting it like 4th hand.Closer to the source than the news and almost "real-time" for me.

Did they get the suspect???

Thanks Brent
somehow I'm finding it difficult to call anyone with name "cane something"
or something "cane"
cause I really, really hate hurricane katrina right now :x :x :x
