That's just a baby ;)

But I suppose it does leave the potential for larger predators to also be exploring the flooded streets.

no, I imagine it probably came in with the storm surge. He's just a little guy, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was something bigger out there.

The lake pouring into New Orleans is a salt water lake connected to the Gulf of Mexico. There are sharks in it.

I hope dem' looters at the childrens hospital come face to face with this shark. Then they'd know how the people inside the hospital feel.

There's also gators in the water along with rattlers, cottonmouths and copperheads.

Bull sharks have been known to travel hundreds of miles up freshwater rivers. In fact Lake Nicaragua (freshwater lake) is the only freshwater lake with sharks.

Bull sharks can live in fresh water. I wouldn't be too worried about that little guy though. I'd be worried about all the angry alligators, snakes, fire ants, rats, etc.

Maybe it saw its big chance and escaped from the Audubon Aquarium.

I would definitely be more concerned about these than I would be of a shark in the streets.

Oh my!!! Like these poor folks dont have enough to deal with.

I just had a thought... what do they do with zoo animals? If there was a zoo in any of the affected areas. I would hate anyone to have to deal with a Lion up a tree or something.

I suspect that you and the lion would find those positions reversed had it not been fed in awhile!
