IM trying to start a relief drive but im told by our local red cross that no one is being allowed near there to deliver any food or clothing we collect. Does anyone know what the best thing for us to donate is?
thank you

I have seen and heard a lot of this kind of concern and wanting to help. The "standard" reply I've heard to it is that the best thing is to make money donations directly to existing organizations in the name of "Hurricane Katrina Victim Relief". These outfits know what is needed and have the means of distribution, ONCE THEY CAN GET IN. Thanks for your efforts! :D
