just an observation about Katrina damage pics/video - whenever there has been a disaster covered in the past, what i like to call "stock footage" shows up simply b/c all the devestation has already been captured on tape, with this hurricane i don't think i've seen the same picture twice, the devestation is everywhere

I am looking for pictures like these for NO. Our son is in Metarie and we have not heard from him yet...please post if you know of pictures.

Question - are the pictures linked to on the first post supposed to represent POST Katrina imagery? If so, then I can clearly see my mother's SUV in the driveway. I know they drove it away as the storm passed, so this could indicate that they're in the home effecting repairs.

The ones I looked at in Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian are definitely post Katrina. There is no question.

YES!!!!! I see my mother's Ford Expedition in the driveway and I know they left as Katrina was coming ashore. I think I can even see her on the sidewalk walking to the truck. The house looks undamaged, not a lot of debris in the area at all. THANK YOU FOR THE LINK!!!
