Speaking of which...
I didn't want to post this beforehand, because it's not as important as many other things right now.
Having said that, I think now would be a good time for the sports fans among us to get behind the NO and LA teams, as a way of showing moral support for the region. For example, I'm a KC Chiefs fan, and will still be cheering on the Chiefs this year, but, at least temporarily, I'm going to count myself as a Saints fan as well. And an LSU fan, and a Tulane fan...you get the picture. (These are teams that normally I could care less about.) It's only a small gesture, not nearly as important as sending money or volunteering, but it's something.
