Thanks To All--From New Orleans, La

#1 Postby camille12 » Wed Aug 31, 2005 11:11 pm

I want to Thank everyone for thier prayers. I have been looking at Storm 2K since last year, 1st time posting. I got all my info for Katrina from this site and relayed it to my family. I am from N.O. evacuted to
Baton Rouge, La. luckly I have family here, so all my family is safe. One of my sisters is from St Bernard Parish, lost everything. Just found out tonight one of our good friends from
St Bernard stayed behind because his father would not leave. Got a text message he is OK and on top of the Chalmette Medical Hospital since Monday, waiting to be rescued. This was unbelievable good news. My son stayed in Kenner, La. because his grandparents would not leave, they did OK, no water. But now they are running low on all supplies. They are using 3 generators, so us here in
Baton Rouge is going to try and get supplies to them tomorrow. Thank U All from the bottom of my heart for doing such a tremendous job on this site. Darlene E.
