Doing what we can

#1 Postby Portastorm » Thu Sep 01, 2005 6:00 am

Well gang, Texas state government is doing its share. My agency is part of a strike team being assembled by our Governor to assist those folks being sent to the Astrodome. We're going to do all we can to help them find suitable housing, health care, and maybe even employment if they chose to stay.

It's part of a massive relief effort being assembled by local, state, and the Feds. Decent chance I'll be sent down to Houston tomorrow and if so, I'll post here as much as I can. Like most of you, my heart breaks for those poor souls who are now homeless as a result of Katrina.
