Calling All Central Florida Residents For Help

To whom it may concern:

Olympic Gold Medalist, Scott Johnson, believes that athletes should be good role models and strives to get this message to as many children as possible while helping out those in need at the same time.

Scott Johnson's Gold Medal Gymnastics and Gold Medal Elite Cheer gyms are teaming up together to do what we can for our fellow Americans in need. We are asking for your help! A lot of children at the gyms have been asking to help the disaster areas and we would like to give them the opportunity to do so. There is an URGENT need for "health kits;" therefore, we are taking donations and putting together as many kits as possible to be sent to UMCOR (http://www.umcor.org) in Louisiana to be distributed among the needy. We are in need of the following items: (please follow the directions exactly; do not add items that are not on the lists. Extra gifts, though given with the best intentions, render a kit unusable and must be removed. All items must be new.)

One gallon plastic bags

Hand towels (15" X 25" up to 17" X 27")

Washcloths

Combs (large and sturdy, not pocket-sized)

Nail files or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers)

Bath-size bars of soap (3 oz. and up)

Toothbrushes (sngle brushes only in original wrapper, No child-size brushes)

Large tubes of toothpaste (4.5 oz. or larger, expiration date must be 6 months or longer)

Adhesive strip sterile bandages
