Breaking News...Urgent Help Needed

#1 Postby Downdraft » Sat Sep 03, 2005 2:34 pm

Anyone having medications that haven't been used, still are sealed and not expired are urged to bring them to the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Medical samples, blood sugar monitors are in urgent need. The Red Cross will get them to the areas where they are urgently needed. Please help if you can. My wife is a diabetic and we have 2 glucometers never used the Red Cross took them with thanks.

It's a disgrace when the Red Cross have to plea for secondhand medicines, when billion dollar drug companies could solve their medicine problems in short-order.

Maybe FEMA and request their stocks?

This was not put here for people to bash the drug companies. I am now locking it since I don't imagine anyone knows for sure how they are responding to the tragedy.
