Hey guys...I am in mobile and my house was ok. I just got power after 6 days. My parents who live in a stilt house in east pascagoula had water in their home, but it is still there. the city of pascagoula was devasted. The water went clean through the entire town, south of hwy 90, and parts of it north of 90 that were along the river. my mother is principal of 2 schools, one which had 6 ft and the other which had 4 ft of water. it is going to be a long cleanup

Welcome back! Glad you are safe and your home was spared. Lindaloo, Moderator here at S2K, lives in Pascagoula. She had water in her home but said the entire P. waterfront is gone. Much as you posted. Complete and utter devastation. We haven't heard back from her but imagine she is very busy cleaning up her home, lending a helping hand. As I'm sure you are helping out too.

Our best to you!

Mary

Tell the people of Pascagoula that we are trying to get aide to them from Alabama. They have a friend who works at the ship yard there who is trying to get help down there for them. He is so upset to see the people over there suffering and having little resources when he was down there a couple of days ago. He works at the shipyard (Ingalls now Northrup Gunman).

PTPatrick-- Glad you and your family are safe! I figured you were just waiting to get the power back on over there. I'm so sorry to hear about your parent's home and your Mom's schools. I know people are organizing to bring some needed things over to Pascagoula. Tell them to hang in there!
