CNN
CNN you have no heart and should be ashamed to use a hurricane for a teaser. " We have a hurricane brewing in the Atlantic" stay tuned. Do you want to make people sick. Why didn't you say that it most likely won't be a threat to land.

Quite frankly I'm not surprised. Media hype without the fact that it is going out to sea...

I know, it upsets me when they do this. They never mention that it's moving out into the open Atlantic.
I remember when the depression in the Atlantic formed after Katrina hit and one of the newscasters said "another depression has formed and is heading in the same direction as Katrina" I wanted to strangle the guy!! He failed to mention that there was a good chance it would be curving out to sea. Instead, he probably induced temporary panic.
I'd like to hear him say, "don't worry about Maria, she's going to be a fish" and see how many phone calls he gets saying "huh???????"

Yeah I saw that too, but I have to say this.....
It takes A-LOT OF BANK to do the coverage that CNN has done in the Wake of Katrina.
I for one have literally relied on them as much as I have Storm2K.
I feel the job they've done has been FIRST RATE overall.
I feel Fox News is "Shock News" and has done a decent job though..
I feel this is one of the first times in my life that the media has really came through. Hell the media has even HELPED a-lot of people.
All that being said, if CNN must use a line like "We have a Hurricane Brewing in the Atlantic." to help pay for some of the coverage they've been doing...SO BE IT..
If you break down exactly what was said, it was 100% true, and it didn't imply anything.
