Hospice
I don't understand the failure to evacuate these twenty patients. Ten are already dead and the others won't last for more than a day and there is nothing they can do to get them out apparently. I thought every hospital and clinic had to have a plan to get accreditation.

you answered your own question. This is not a hospital or a clinic so I am guessing they are prioritizing the evacutees. Not says it is right but I think one would evac. a hospital full of children before a hospice.

Rock, Each Hospital or Clinic has to have their own plan in place and are responsible for evacuating their patients, not the government. Hospice would be an accredited facility to get money for these patients from the government. I just don't get it.
