Katy Texas Red Cross Relief

There is a Red Cross Relief Center located in Katy, Tx at the Kingsland Baptist Church. It is on Kingsland Road across from Katy Taylor High School. The High School is allowing the people to use their showers every evening which is so nice. The facilaty is wonderful! Clean, safe and can house about 125 people. Yesterday when I left they had about 90 people so there is room available. They have gas vouchers, wal-mart vouchers, food, information and anything else you might need to help. I was honored to be allowed to help this weekend. The people that came were so amazing! They only took what they needed and were hestitant to take more for fear someone with less wouldn't get anything. I ...have no words for what I saw this weekend. So Big Steve if you need anything you are minutes from there, don't hesitate to stop by. Any katy residents in the area they need volunteers to help with registration (easy job I did it!) meals, laundry, nurses or doctors.... It's wonderfully clean, upbeat and welcoming!
