These are absolutly stunning videos. I have traveled along HWY 90 in gulfport and I can tell you even these videos do no show the true horror of the damage.

You are so right. They are impressive but do not give the impact of seeing it in person. As many pictures I have seen of NO, when driving through on interstate the devastation hits os much harder. Hwy 90 on the MGC just makes me cry. I loved all the beautiful homes there. and the holes in the roofs of the homes in NO give me the shivers. I cannot imagine sitting on the roof with my 2 y/o grandson with no food or water in the blazing sun day after day.

That video is so sobering. It really brings home what really happened down there.

I'm humbled every time I watch the video that WLOX produced. But as good as it is, it doesn't do justice to the true horror that is now our coast. I thought we had it bad up here until I actually saw with my own eyes the destruction of Waveland. There are no words that can describe what I saw. The only thing that I can say is that everyone on this board needs to see it with their own eyes in order to truly appreciate what south Mississippi is dealing with.
