Of the page size of 454,470 bytes, 305,593 are from the pictures. Only the animated gif of SouthFloridawx is 217,364 bytes.

Imagine the loading time of a page with that animated gif and the other one which is over 500,000 bytes..

Now this is a page with 'only' avatars.
