You know i may rattle some chains here and i am sorry if i do! BUT. I have big issues with this member of the month thing and how it seems to be for the most part a popularity thing going still!

I mean honestly think about some of the names above there (Past and present)and think about WHAT EXACTLY have they brought to Storm2K other then perhaps a few good chats in off topic or a weather related post here and there! Sorry but IMHO thats not contributing to this site for this kind of honor!

What is? Someone who helps other members out, Or has contributed somehow to the site such as helping the members understand the weather and stuff like that or helped keep the site running smooth. More or less this person has REALLY helped Storm2K in one way or another be a better site and did whether it be just helping with the newsletter or helping a admin or mod or even forecaster out with something or vise versa on the site as well as helping other members!!!!!!

Not saying either that none of the ones above havent but im certain if everyone really thinks about it they will see my point. Not sure if anyone will admit it though!!!!!

Perhaps part of the problem may be because people dont stop and take time to visit the whole board and really see what is going on and such and see who is doing what! And this applies to those who just go to the weather discussions and as well those who just visit the off topic forums.

Get a chance try atleast once a day to pop into every forum and see what is happening there from all the weather boards to all the s2k extra boards and dont skip any either and be sure as well to read all the announcements as well! Then the next time this poll comes up think about who has really done what and then nominate and then vote for them whether they are your best chat buddy or not!!

So many people IMHO have done soo much for this site yet has not even been nomintated or won this member of the month which is very sad imo and doesnt say a whole heck of alot about us. And btw i have felt this way for months now even when i have been nominated because i felt there was others who deserved this title more and as well to be nominated.

Anyways thats my rant for the day.

I do wish everyone here the best of luck and i personally think each of you in some way or another has helped this site and as well do consider you all friends!

And i am truely sorry if i upset anyone because that is not my intent here!

Congradulations to everyone.. KOW let me ask you something.. Did you send in a nomination???? If not then we cant realy say anything ;-)

Everyone on this list deseves to be on this list, and everyone who has been on the list in the past deserved to be there becuase the members voted them there and thats what counts ;-)

I didnt say they didnt deserve to be there and if i implied that then i am sorry. That wasnt my intention. And no i didnt nominate anyone because i was torn between two people who i wanted to and i know we cant nominate two. Which btw one of them do happen to be on the list!!!!

I agree with Chad and Marshall.

I think everyone nominated is done so by a member of the board and therefore they deserve it...no matter what anyone else thinks they have or haven't contributed :wink:

All of us make S2K what it is in our own unique way!! :wink:

I agree. Plenty of diversity up there. Each and every one of them have contributed in their own way. And everyone of them up there have had to put up with me too. lol. So congrats to all up there!
