Sea World Gathering in Florida in May

I would love to go. But, Orlando is a 12-hour trip. And I can't really afford it. Still have lots left to pay on my credit card for my Destin, Florida vacation last August. Maybe we can have another get together one day near New Orleans or even Houma. It may not be as fun as Sea World, but we can find fun things to do. Lots of fishing, crawfish boils, swamp tours, etc..

Sea World is about 40 minutes away for me. I will be there if there are no other schedule conflicts.

sea world is several hours away from here but it is a possibility.

Actually, I went to Orlando when I was 11. Family vacation. We owned a pop up camper then. And stayed at a campground in Kississimmee. We went to Disney World (Both Magic Kingdom and Epcot) And we also went to Sea World. I know it has really changed a lot since I was a kid. I am dying to go back. If only I had the money to go back. It is way more expensive than when we went in the late 80's.

Last time I was in that area was 11 months after Disney world opened. It was way out in the boonies then!!! I would guess it has changed just a little since I was there. That was 1973 and the closest thing to a honeymoon my wife and I have had.

wish I had time to come down for your guys gathering, but it ain't gonna happen with me changing jobs in a couple of weeks.

For those that are booking rooms go though the orbiz site...They are still under $60.00 but if you call the hotel it is $99.00
