lowering the number of skins help the bandwidth issue? Just a question I had since I don't know much about technical stuff like that.

The number of skins doesn't matter. Bandwidth is just a fancy word for the amount of data transmitted from the server to the user. Graphics take a tremendous amount of data when compared to text. The more graphics the more data that has to be transmitted :-)

That's why we've asked for people to remove their signatures and avatars. :-)
