Sorry for adding my two cents, Harry. Apparently the closest reporting station to you is reporting a Thunderstorm, so it is coming through.

You're welcome, Harry. The three letter code you are using for the site indicates the city being used for your local area.

We use a feed to Weather.CNN.com for the local conditions on the index page. I don't know where the actual reporting station that they use for Mount Vernon, OH. Sorry :-)

See above :-) The City codes are those of CNN. We just use their code table and store their codes in your profile when you select a city from the list.

OK, so why would it say "WITHHELD" under City code in my profile?

Did you select a "City Code" in your profile Rock? We don't put them in, you have to. :-) If you select a City Code then you will see a 5 day forecast at the bottom of the main message board page .

Oh I see, so you have nothing to do with what cities are available for selection? Gotcha. ;)

That's right Joshua. We only use the cities that they make available to us. It would be nice if we knew exactly which reporting station they use for each of their codes but they don't make that information available. We selected their service because they offered the international cities as well as the US ones. :-)
