Downtime 5/30/03

The message board was down for about 2.5 hours today due to some database file corruption. This may be due to an upgrade on the database software that our host did about 2 weeks ago. We are still working with them to understand why this happened so that we can take preventative measures. Thanks for everyone's patience and understanding :-)

It was good that it wasn't more serious but all is going now well again and these kinds of things happen and nothing is perfect.

I consider things like this normal. I've always understood that sites go down from time to time. Theoretically, nothing is perfect and things have to be under maintenence from time to time. :)
