Book Recommendations

#1 Postby TrekkerCC » Thu May 17, 2007 1:09 am

Hello,

This is a question for the pro-mets. I've been interested in learning more about mid-latitude cyclones and non-tropical cyclone genesis. I have a bunch of used introductory meteorology books that have a lot of useful information in them, but I am wanting more. My math skills are generally fine, but not that great (high level calculus is going to give me some trouble). Is there a good book (or books) on mid-latitude cyclones/non-tropical cyclone genesis that is not mathematically heavy? Are there some mathematically-heavy books that you would recommend regardless?

-Thanks,
