Current Rainclouds
We have been experiencing thunderstorms for the last day. The sky now is filled with heavy gray rainclouds. What type of clouds are these? I am looking at the bases of cumulonimbus or stratus clouds, or neither?

It's hard to tell without a picture... but from what it sounds like, during the thunderstorms the previous day, you had at least some cumulonimbus. As for the heavy, gray clouds with rain... that sort of sounds like nimbostratus, but without have all the details, it's a little tough.
