basically im looking for websites to learn how to read forecast models. any ideas? thnks in advance

What kind of models? Hurricane models? Just models for everyday forecasting? Do you just want to understand what you're looking at or do you want to attempt to make forecasts?
Models are tools used by meteorologists to aid in forecast preparation. Every model has strengths and weaknesses. Using them correctly requires knowledge of these strengths and weaknesses. Generally, that knowledge comes with a great deal of experience. But you can get some basic info on models here:

Here is a good site for educating yourself on how weather works and how to decipher what you are looking at.
