I made the reduction to Surface winds 57 X 80% = 45.6 X 1.15 = 52.44

57 knots=45.6 knots at the surface. This is weaker then thought so far.

57 X .80 = 45.6 X 1.15 (MPH Conversion) = 52.44MPH Surface Winds.

The storm is not as well organized and strong as it seemed. Maybe see a downgrade to windspeeds in the next advisory.

I doubt it. If they downgraded it, it would only be to 50kt (60mph), but they still have a lot of flying to go.
