parts of SE Texas did. In Houston the damage was mostly minor (60-65mph gusts), but over in Beaumont and Port Arthur there was considerable damage with 90+mph wind gusts reported as far inland as Beaumont and even Jasper.

i remember watching it that night and jim cantore was outside all pissed off because he wasnt in the center of the storm. lol

Oh goodness. Believe it or not Debbie Gibson was the first CD I ever bought.

Don't laugh! It WAS the 80's and I was a young teenager. It didn't take me long to replace it with Guns N' Roses.
