Actually it looks to becoming little less organized. It looks less veritically stacked on satellite. The surface center has continued moving north while the mid-level center has moved to the east.

Well, the system is already approaching 40ºN, I think it's holding quite well. Of course, as it continues northward it will become less and less organized!!!

Is she going to make landfall on Dartmouth, NS?

The CHC is talking about issueing wind and rain warnings for Nova Scotia, not tropical storm alerts.

Wouldn't it be fun if Beryl surprised us with 75 mph winds.

Wow. It does look like an eye. Not sure if it really is, but it certainly looks like a Satellite picture of a Cat. 1 hurricane (not saying it is though).

I think it might be an eye...last night I saw some bit of recon info and it said there was evidence of a 40mile wide eye...this looks like 40miles to me...although cloud tops are warming it appears that a blow up of convection is forming just east of the center(as seen on the sat. above) which could bring the moderate convection all the way arounf the center

It could possibly be an eye, I'm not sure but I seem to remember that these high latitude systems tend to get eyes as strong tropical storms, look at the fishes from November-December last year. Intresting to see how its keeping its structure though depsite nearly at 40N.

Here's another shot. I don't think that's a true eye, but it's definitely a lot better-developed than Alberto ever was. I find it hard to believe it's going to miss southeastern MA as the NHC keeps saying. To miss Nantucket, it would have to track south of 047 degrees from its current location.

I work in Atlantic City and we are getting some rain right now from Beryl. It's a bit breezy too. On the way into work down the Atlantic City Expressway from Mays Landing which is 14 miles inland to Atlantic City we were getting some light rain.

Is it me, or does Beryl seem like it's moving closer to the west? From the satelite pics, she's throwing more rain bands my way.

I can definately see the wobble to the NE - it's just that she's growing bigger! The outflow is more pronounced. Watch out Long Island and MA!!
