Wind Shear was never a problem with 91L. marginal dry air is. Not enough to kill it but enough to keep it in check.

The 3 left models don't necessarily indicate fish for the U.S., although if it hits Hispanola it'll be tore up pretty badly(10,000 foot mountains).

CONUS residents are not the only members of S2K. Other areas can be threatened as well and we're hoping for their safety.

Besides, based on your statement, Galveston getting hit would still mean a "fish" storm to you since we aren't on the "Mainland." :grr:

If it does not hit PR, its a fish.

LOL Im starting to sound lilke Yoda, sry, Im in a good mood this morning, buying a new house. Closing and signinig on Thursday!! TD2 to be might have something to say about those plans :(

Anytime you have a system moving 20+mph any UL wind coming from the direction it is headed is magnified above the surface feature. 91L has seen slight southwesterly shear. Albeit it has not effected it. I'm pointing out that the shear over the islands of the last few days is decreasing, had it not proceeded the outlook for development would have been lessened.

Way to early to call fish. The newest models have the system further west than the previous ones and now coming pretty doggone close, if not thru the Bahamas.

BTW right on top of PR by thursday morning, the exact time I have appointment at the bank to sign closing papers for my new house :(. Well I rather see some cool weather (If the initial forecast does verifies) and sign another day hehe.
