Jamaica reported surface pressures of 1011 MB's as the wave passed. The lowest pressures *were* a little further south but the shear is still strong in that region so I am not sure where the lowest pressure is now. May take a while to get reorganized but at least the shear seems to be slowly relaxing.

I think the real question is what happens when this thing potentially reaches the Gulf Of Mexico??? Will it reach the Gulf??? Will it potentially intensify into a tropical system once again. There's definitely a few possibilities and I'm definitely not letting my guard down as far as the Gulf is concerned.

Our Bonnie wannabe seems to be livening up tonight in the Caribbean and those blobs in the east don't look too shabby, either.

GOM Dead, look to former TD 2
GOM is as quiet as it gets. A couple areas of weak low pressure that don't appear to be doing much. Convection is less than organized.
Now, on to former bogus TD 2. Given up as dead just yesterday, nocturnal convection is starting to concentrate. Look for this wave to continue on a NW to WNW track into the southern GOM where things could get interesting Sunday night into Monday.....MGC

Yes I totally agree. It will be VERY interesting to see what happens when it enters the GOM.
