Im assuming the models increase the forward speed of the trough or slow the system down over the next couple of days.

That is interesting, probably spread moisture across my area, I'll take it!

Based on these model plots I am declaring the all clear for all of FL. Maybe we can get it to go to Bama so our friend Brent can get a storm he wants so bad.

Wow, I guess those of us here in the FLA panhandle need to keep a watchful eye, considering some of those models.

Thanks, lilbump.

These forecast models make the most sense with the currents and even upcoming short term pattern.

I have mentioned time and time again, along with others that frontal systems cause these turns in direction for tropical systems... and then the WNW, NW and W motion is mentioned with this or similar setups and the feature ends up moving against these model runs for what nothing more can be obvoius reasons... Why wouldn't I agree with the forecast and the majority in these instances?

I agree, but they are models to go by with the inclusion of future runs as Garrett mentioned above.

Being the idiot that I am, I went to edit it and deleted it by mistake. When the yes/no option popped up I hit yes for some dumb reason.

It's REALLY dry here. My grand rain total for August so far is 5 drops and it's been at least 10 days since we had enough rain to measure.

Thanks. Come to think of it... the last time we had a good rain may have been late on the 24th into early on the 25th when one of those popup storms sat over me. I can't remember any rain since then(that was 2 weeks ago!).

On the 26th I had 1.64", but since then I've only had .03" of rain and things are really starting to get dry and dusty. If this thing doesn't spread moisture through the area, may be another week, maybe two before we get anything in here.
